1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using taskd ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and x6c LLC ("x6c," "we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

taskd is a task management service provided by x6c LLC that allows users to create, organize, and manage tasks and projects. The Service is accessible at taskd.sh and through any associated APIs or integrations. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.

3. Accounts and Registration

Access to the Service requires authentication via Google OAuth. By signing in, you authorize us to receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at levi@x6c.co of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or submit through the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant x6c LLC a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display your User Content solely as necessary to operate and provide the Service to you.

You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant the above license and that your User Content does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights. We do not pre-screen User Content and are not responsible for it. However, we reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and all of its content, features, and functionality (excluding User Content) — including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and icons — are owned by x6c LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except as permitted by applicable law or with our prior written consent.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, immediately and without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to us, other users, or third parties.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including Sections 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, and 11.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL X6C LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL — ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless x6c LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of West Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in West Virginia, and you hereby consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
